Annual Replacement Set for IAS-NC700-HI

A typical change-out for one cart is 1 × IAS-HEPA-2424 and 1 × IAS-ICF-2424, with new gaskets. Many sites keep one spare set per cart on the shelf so a failed test or contamination event does not take the unit out of service.

Documentation and Quality

Consumables ship with our standard documentation, such as the factory HEPA test report or the carbon batch test report and physical-properties data sheet. Our products are designed to EJ/T 20088-2014; they are not currently ASME AG-1 or NQA-1 certified. Where a project requires independent ASTM D3803 testing, AG-1 qualification or 10 CFR 50 Appendix B records, we arrange it together with qualified partners — please confirm your requirements before ordering.

Planning a change-out? See the carbon filter and HEPA replacement guide, the HEPA DOP/PAO testing guide and the methyl iodide vs cyclohexane test methods.

Frequently Asked Questions

Which replacement filters does the IAS-NC700-HI use?
The IAS-NC700-HI uses one IAS-HEPA-2424 HEPA element and one IAS-ICF-2424 activated carbon adsorber element, both 24 × 24 × 11.5 in. (610 × 610 × 292 mm), plus the washable IAS-PF-300 inlet pre-filter ring. Send your unit serial number with the order so we can confirm fit.
Do you sell bulk nuclear-grade impregnated activated carbon?
Yes. Impregnated coconut-shell activated carbon for radioiodine (8–16 mesh) is sold in 50 L steel drums of about 20 kg net: $520 per drum for 1–4 drums, $480 for 5–19 drums and $440 for 20 or more, FOB. Each order ships with a batch test report and physical-properties data sheet; third-party ASTM D3803 testing can be arranged at cost.
Can the carbon be tested to ASTM D3803?
Yes, independent ASTM D3803 methyl iodide testing by a third-party laboratory can be arranged for a batch or sample. Tell us the test conditions your facility requires when you request a quote.
What standards are these consumables designed to?
Iodine Air Systems products are designed to EJ/T 20088-2014. They are not currently ASME AG-1 or NQA-1 certified; where a project requires AG-1 qualification or 10 CFR 50 Appendix B documentation, it is completed together with qualified partners. Confirm your facility's requirements before ordering.
When should carbon adsorbers and HEPA filters be replaced?
Replace them based on your facility's testing program — for example, laboratory tests of carbon samples, in-place leak test results, pressure drop, service time or contamination events. See our carbon filter replacement guide for criteria and procedure.
How should used filters and carbon be handled?
Treat used HEPA elements and carbon as potentially contaminated. Remove them with appropriate protective equipment, bag them immediately and dispose of them according to your facility's radiological waste procedures and license conditions.
